This policy explains what happens when you use Face Shape Check, including how photos are processed, what anonymous analytics may be collected, and how to contact us about your privacy rights. Effective date: October 8, 2026.
Photos are processed on your device
When you choose a photo, it is read and analyzed inside your browser. Face Shape Check does not send your photo to our servers, upload it to any AI interface, or store the image. The facial landmark analysis runs locally on your device using MediaPipe. The purpose of this local processing is to estimate facial proportions without creating a copy of your photo on our systems.
The preview and any temporary canvas used during analysis exist only in the current browser session. When you leave the page or close the session, those temporary browser objects are not retained by Face Shape Check. Your selected image remains under your control on your device.
No account is required
You can use the face shape test without registering or creating an account. We do not collect your name or email address as a requirement for using the tool. If you email us, we receive the address and message that you choose to send so we can respond, but the face detector itself does not ask for personal details.
Because the analysis happens locally, we do not maintain a personal photo history or a user profile connected to your results.
Google Analytics
Face Shape Check uses Google Analytics with tracking ID G-EFCVQJERF0. Google Analytics may use cookies to collect anonymous or aggregated visit information, such as which pages are visited, where a visit came from, device type, and approximate region. We use this information to understand whether the site is working and which guides are useful; it is not used to identify you by name.
A cookie is a small piece of data that a website or service stores in your browser. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. You can also use browser privacy controls or extensions that limit analytics, although some site measurement features may then be unavailable.
Advertising and Google AdSense
After the site is approved for advertising, pages may display Google AdSense ads. Google and third-party advertising providers may use cookies or similar technologies to show personalized advertising based on browsing activity. Advertising settings are controlled by those providers and your browser choices.
You can turn off personalized advertising through Google Ads Settings or manage choices through aboutads.info/choices. You can also block cookies in your browser, though that may affect advertising preferences and other websites.
Children’s privacy
Face Shape Check is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information by email, please contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, including under the GDPR in the European Union and the CCPA in California, you may have rights to request access to personal information, ask for deletion, or object to or restrict certain processing. These rights can have legal exceptions and may depend on the information involved.
To make a privacy request, email hello@faceshapecheck.com. We may need enough information to understand and respond to the request, but we do not ask you to send a photo for a rights request.
Policy updates
We may update this Privacy Policy when the site, analytics, advertising, or applicable requirements change. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. We encourage you to review this page occasionally so you know how the current service handles information.
